Our engineer will advise on what he considers are your best value for money options based on your heating requirements, budget considerations and special offers prevailing at any given time.
We can also carry out a free inspection of your heating system to determine if you are eligible for a carbon credit and SEAI grant towards your new A rated boiler if a control upgrade pack is fitted.
Boiler Choice
We recommend Baxi, Bosch, Ideal, Vokera and Worcester brands.
From an efficiency aspect boilers may be categorised as “Standard” or “A Rated”.

There are three categories of Condensing boiler:
| Type | Some Features |
| “Heat Only”: | This is the most common. The boiler heats water which is circulated by a pump through radiators and an “indirect” hot water cylinder. |
| “System”: | Similar to heat only but pump is integrated into boiler and attic expansion tank not required. |
| “Combi”: | No hot water cylinder: Water goes directly from mains to boiler. When hot water tap is turned on burner ignites to heat the water. Particularly advantageous because they provide hot water on tap without having to heat up a full cylinder of water and give you hot water on demand. May not be suitable in areas of low water pressure. |

When replacing your boiler, we recommend system flushing and installing a Magna clean or Total Filter for additional system protection.

Control Upgrade
We also carry out Control upgrades which combined with an A rated boiler give even more control and efficiency to your heating system. Savings of up to 35% on running costs can be achieved.
If fitting an A rated boiler and control pack package we can offer a carbon credit discount of €350. In addition and you can also avail of an SEAI Grant of €750.
